The First Millennial Saint

The young man I painted today is someone I’ve felt very drawn to since I first heard of him. He is the Blessed Carlo Acutis, an Italian boy born in 1991, who loved gaming and programming, designing a website dedicated to the veneration of the Blessed Sacrament. He died of leukemia in 2006, and has been credited with a number of miracles. Unofficially, he’s been called the first Millennial Saint and Patron Saint of the Internet.
